Surprisingly, going from working-girl to stay-at-home-mom has posed a big fashion challenge for many. My friends tell me that they can't seem to get their around-town, toddler-toting look right (and end up in their Lululemons all day.)  Is it possible to look casual chic when carrying around kids, jumping in and out of the suv, sitting on the floor playing with playdough and then dashing off to a ladies lunch or a school board meeting?  YES!   The key is to keep it simple and develop a uniform that works for you -- think the perfect-fitting jeans, a luxe but basic sweater or tee, nice flats (or boots in the winter), and maybe a jacket to top off the look. Easy but polished!

Here is some inspiration from two extremely chic London moms -- Claudia Schiffer and Elle MacPherson.

Claudia keeps it conservative with ladylike blouses, scarves and chunky sweaters; while Elle adds glams with fur vests and a bit of edge with leather jackets. (What I would give to have hair like that...)

Clearly, they have their "drop-off/pick-up" looks down. While, we may not look as glamourous as these two model-moms do on their school runs, we can certainly try (a little effort, ladies!)!
