 Superchic mom Sarah Jessica Parker manages to keep it pulled together in inclement weather...  her raincoat could be the perfect one. Wonder if it comes with a hood? (Love their matching wellies).

I've been seeing so much denim in so many different forms lately...  And this Vogue.com article on denim-on-denim caught my eye (with images below).  Can you have too much of a good thing when it comes to good ole blue jeans?

I, for one, love mixing chambray with denim a la Sarah Jessica Parker, above. And a good denim tunic or shirtdress could be a wardrobe classic... but I am not so sure I could pull off the full "Texas tuxedo" look. What do you think?

Supercasual done right!  Love the Converse low-tops for tot-toting footwear.  Superagas are great too... A little sneaker looks a lot better with non-workout wear than a clunky running shoe.

I actually buy a lot of purple -- dresses, tops, bags, shoes -- for my three-year-old daughter. It is her absolute favorite color. Perhaps it's time to start adding a little to my wardrobe?

More on the recent wave of color... Caribbean blue also seems to be transitioning from the runways to the red carpet and the streets. SJP looks effortlessly chic. Love the flouncy, feminine skirt paired with a tailored jacket (and those crazy high Louboutins!).

The glamour gowns are definitely red carpet worthy (and Blake Lively's choice of footwear is fab)... However, I admit that this is not a color I am usually drawn to.  It doesn't read sophisticated to me -- although, SJP's urban-polished look may change my mind. What do you think? Maybe it's better on blue-eyed blonds?

For spring and summer  (and pretty much all year), I wear a ton of navy. I've posted about it before -- it is one of my favorite wardrobe shades.  Is there something in between this eye-catching cornflower blue and a classic dark navy (royal?) that would be worth trying? Say, a patent Manolo or a Proenza PS1 bag?!
