Will Kate Middleton reach fashion icon status now that she is marrying the world's most famous prince? Perhaps eventually. What I love about Kate Middleton is that she seems cool and fun. She embraces her youth instead of trying too hard to be fancy and ROYAL and carries herself with confidence and ease. She clearly knows what works for her and sticks with it -- favoring jersey, wrap-style dresses (mostly by London-based label Issa). The princess-to-be has not gone designer-only, although that may come. She is not afraid of color but doesn't go over-the-top with prints. She keeps her enviable locks long and natural (nary an updo in sight). Best of all, she's fresh-faced, healthy-looking and has a radiant smile -- and that is that kind of style-setting role model our budding fashionistas need.
